Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin introduces new head to the staff of the regional Ministry of Forestry

On February 8, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin introduced Ravil Kuzyurov, who was appointed Minister of Forestry of the republic, to the ministerial staff.

Pesoshin said Kuzyurov has a proven track record. In particular, he worked in the Government and was Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the republic. Until recently, he headed Nurlaty municipal region of the republic.

"We know Ravil well enough. He is a good facilitator and an effective leader," the Prime Minister said. “Today there is an understanding that the forest industry is important for the further development of the republic.  As the new head, Kuzyurov is to work in many areas."

Pesoshin highlighted four main areas such as attracting federal funds for the development of innovative areas of the forestry sector, setting boundaries of forest areas for cadastral registration, eliminating contradictions between the lands of the forest fund and other categories of land, maximizing the use of the allowable cut, developing small and medium-sized businesses in forestry sector, staffing the industry.

The leadership of the republic has always supported and will continue to support the Ministry in solving the tasks set, Pesoshin assured.

“I am sure that the Ministry led by Ravil Kuzyurov will make the forest complex innovative and economically efficient," the Prime Minister said.

In his turn, Kuzyurov thanked the regional leadership for placing confidence in him. "I will make every effort and use my professionalism to deal with the tasks set for the benefit of the republic," he said.
