Aleksey Pesoshin meets participants of the third gathering of cadets of the Russian Investigative Committee

On March 30, at the Kazan Federal University, Acting President of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin had a meeting with participants of the third gathering of cadets of the Russian Investigative Committee with participation of Head of the Department of  training and educational work of the Investigative Committee of Russia, Hero of the Russian Federation Sergey Petrov.

The event started with a minute of silence in memory of the victims of the tragedy in Kemerovo.

In his welcoming speech, Pesoshin emphasized that education and training of young people of any country is the determining factor of the activity of the state, its most important function. The development of the state, its national security and independence depends on the successful implementation of this function.

The development of the Cadet movement is a significant step forward in the development of  physically healthy, moderate and spiritually strong young generation. “This area also has its development potential in Tatarstan. The concept of development of cadet education for 2017-2020 has been adopted, as part of which 15 cadet institutions with 4,188 cadets are operating,” Pesoshin said.

He emphasized that the cadet educational institutions are among the prestigious institutions where students receive quality education, military training and vocational training. Some teaching technologies for professional service to the Fatherland in the civil and military fields used by the Cadet schools are unique and require further promotion and improvement, Acting President of the republic supposes.

During the meeting, Pesoshin was awarded the medal of the Russian Investigative Committee “For the assistance”.
