Two-month cleaning and environmental campaign starts in Tatarstan

On March 31, speaking at the Government House of the republic at the regional video-conference held by Acting President of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of all regions of the republic, Tatarstan Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Aleksandr Shadrikov said that a two-month cleaning and environmental campaign on cleaning up areas of cities and municipal areas starts in Tatarstan on April 1.

The Minister noted that the appropriate organizational preparation is being carried out by the municipalities, ministries and departments, supervisory bodies already before the start today.

According to Shadrikov, during the two-month campaign, all supervisory authorities should strengthen their efforts on identifying violations of the legislative requirements within their competence.

It is planned to organize flights, hold detour of railroad and its territory and work actively with the citizens to identify violations.

Shadrikov urged heads of the regions to ensure the cleaning-up of yard areas, children's playgrounds, private housing sector, garage cooperatives and places for mass recreation of citizens.
