On April 28, speaking at a regional video-conference held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of all regional municipalities in the Government House of the republic, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Utilities Irek Faizullin reported that to date, as many as 966,000 square metres of housing have been commissioned in Tatarstan, which makes over 40 per cent of the plan for 2018. It is scheduled to build 2,403,000 square metres of housing in the republic.
“The Ministry is engaged in the formation of a housing construction plan for 2019-2021. We sent requests to the heads of municipal districts for the allocation of land and detailed plans for construction. A three-year programme for commissioning of housing is being formed, thus, the information should be complete and correct,” Faizullin addressed the meeting.
The construction programmes of socially significant facilities are being implemented according to the plan. As many as 28 rural club, 10 buildings of Executive Committees, 44 medical and obstretic centres, 11 outpatient clinics, 8 swimming pools, 5 multipurpose sports halls, 133 multipurpose sports facilities and block-modular skiing centres are scheduled to be built this year.
