Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Utilities of the republic: It is necessary to overhaul children’s recreation camps by May 25

On May 5, speaking at the Government House of the republic at a regional video-conference held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov with participation of Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin, Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Utilities of the republic Irek Faizullin reported on the implementation of capital repair programme of multi-apartments houses and socio-cultural facilities.

Faizullin said that 995 multi-apartment houses with the total area of 5.3 million square metres will be overhauled in Tatarstan in the current year.

As many as 28 educational institutions, including 16 municipal schools and 12 special schools are included into the capital repair programme of educational facilities. As of May 3, the work is under way at 25 facilities. Besides, 80 kindergartens are being overhauled.

It is scheduled to overhaul 14 children's recreation camps, to construct six new ones and to reconstruct one camp in 2018. As of May 3 of the current year, the work is under way at all facilities. The dynamics is 24.8 per cent in two weeks. The work has been completed at nine facilities. “I remind you that it is necessary to overhaul the remaining 5 recreation camps by May 25,” the Minister added.

Major repair of three cultural facilities, two youth clubs and seven buildings of Executives Committees has been completed.

Faizullin also reported on the large-scale programme of modernization of outpatient centres. The work has started at 66 of 120 facilities.
