On September 20, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated students and teachers of the Kazan State Power Engineering University on the 50th anniversary of the foundation.
Congratulating graduates, teachers and students of the University of the anniversary, Pesoshin wished them success in solving all tasks at the highest level. He noted that 50 years of work is an impressive date.
"The names of famous scientists, heads of large companies and enterprises, remarkable workers are connected with the power engineering university. I express my gratitude to old stagers of the University for their invaluable contribution to the formation and development of the university, dedication to the chosen profession and readiness to work for the good of the country. As before, the university is the flagship of the system of training highly qualified specialists for the power engineering and other branches of the Russian economy, thanks to the set up traditions and high level of teaching. The university has become recognizable all over the world. An important role is played by young people - students, who multiply the best traditions of the university by their successes and achievements. I thank the staff of the University for their professionalism, competence, commitment to develop and strengthen positions of Tatarstan in the scientific and economic community,” Pesoshin emphasized.
Outstanding teachers, heads of departments and scientists of the Kazan State Power Engineering University were awarded at the solemn event. In total, 11 people received state awards and honorary titles.
