As many as 88 kilometers of roads built and reconstructed in Tatarstan in 2018

On November 13, speaking at a briefing at the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, Tatarstan Minister of Transport and Roads Lenar Safin said that 88 kilometers of regional roads have been built and reconstructed in Tatarstan this year.

As many as 331 kilometers of regional roads have been repaired and 75 kilometers of artificial lighting have been installed in 35 localities of the republic, the speaker said.

“As many as 28 settlements, stretching 69 kilometers have been connected by surfaced roads. It helped to provide transport accessibility for over 2,500 citizens,” the Minister said.

According to the municipal programmes, 550 kilometers of the road network of settlements have been repaired.

Since October 20, 24-hour duty shifts have been organized in contractor organizations, involved in the maintenance of federal and regional roads.

There are 1143 units of specialized equipment at the disposal of road organizations.

On the roads, there are 56 weather stations, informing about adverse weather conditions.

Twenty-four-hour operational service is working in the Ministry of Transport and Roads of the republic, which also receives information on the state of the roads.
