Aleksey Pesoshin takes part in the launch of new pyrolysis furnaces at Kazanorgsintez Chemical Company

On November 22, as part of integrated testing, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, Director General of TAIF Production and Investment Company of Tatarstan Albert Shigabutdinov,Director General of Kazanorgsintez Chemical Company Farid Minigulov and Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin took part in the solemn launch of four new pyrolysis furnaces at the ethylene plant at the E-200 complex.

The launching of new facilities is dedicated to the 60th anniversary of enterprise foundation and the 55th anniversary since the day of manufacturing of first products.

Four new pyrolysis furnaces will replace ten old furnaces that have worked for almost 40 years. The modernization of the furnace block will improve the efficiency of operating production facilities by increasing the efficiency of ethylene plants, improving the security of the technological process and reducing the cost of production.

Pesoshin noted that the TAIF has been implementing a policy of improvement of its plants, successfully adopting the best practicies of world companies for more than two decades.

According to Prime Minister of Tatarstan, the Kazanorgsintez has started a new three-year stage of modernization. Under this programme, it is planned to invest over 10 billion roubles. “I want to confirm that the company is one of the most successful, modern and dynamically developing enterprises of the petrochemical complex of our country,” Pesoshin added.
