A representative office of Tatarstan to open in Leipzig until autumn

On June 11, speaking at a briefing at the Government House of the republic, Minister of Industry and Trade of the republic Albert Karimov told reporters that a representative office of Tatarstan is to open in Leipzig (Germany) until autumn.

The respective agreement was reached during negotiations between Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Minister President of Saxony Michael Kretschmer held at the St Petersburg International Economic Forum.

“The opening of a representative office of Tatarstan in Germany in the city of Leipzig soon was one of the topics of their discussion,” Karimov said.

The official opening will be held in coming months, he added.

Work to set up the representative office of Tatarstan in Germany is coordinated with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, he added.
