Aleksey Pesoshin takes part in a meeting of the working group on the preparation of the Council under Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Volga Federal District on the development of internal and incoming tourism in the District

On September 10, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in a video-conference held by Deputy Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Volga Federal District Alexey Kuzmitsky on the preparation of the Council under Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Volga Federal District on the development of internal and incoming tourism in the Volga Federal District.

Pesoshin briefed that during the preparation for the first meeting of the Council, Tatarstan had developed and sent to Russian Presidential Envoy in Volga Federal District the proposals on the structure of the report and the list of issues for the information and analytical materials.

During the meeting, members of the working group discussed issues of amendments to be introduced into the federal legislation in the protection of consumer rights, the improvement of the quality of services and the establishment of a favorable investment climate.

The meeting also noted the need to strengthen the work of the Volga regions in the development of promising types of tourism and advanced training in the tourism industry.

The Council under Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the District on the development of internal and incoming tourism in the Volga Federal District is scheduled on October 4, 2019. It is planned to look around the historical and archeological complex of the Great Bolgar, which is the UNESCO World Heritage Site.
