Aleksey Pesoshin takes part in a meeting of Tatarstan State Council of the sixth convocation

On October 23, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Tatarstan State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev took part in the fourth meeting of Tatarstan State Council of the sixth convocation held by Chairman of the State Council of the republic Farid Mikhametshin.

The people’s deputies considered 19 issues, including nine projects of regional bills and five projects of federal bills.

The bill on the budget of Tatarstan for 2020 and the planning period 2021 and 2022 was the main issue on the agenda. The document introduced into the parliament by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov was widely discussed in relevant committees, at zone meetings and during the parliamentary hearings.

In 2020, regional budget revenues are planned to be 264.8 billion roubles, expenses in the amount of 267.96 billion roubles and deficit - 3.1 billion roubles.

Bills amending the Environmental Code and regional laws on selling state-owned assets, on the development of small and medium-sized businesses, on urban development, on drug and substance abuse prevention, on the Constitutional Court of Tatarstan and on justices of the peace were prepared for consideration in the first reading.

A draft law on amending the regional law on cultural heritage sites regulating issues on the preservation and use of sites inscribed into the World Heritage List was considered in the second reading.

Speaking at the fourth meeting, Tatarstan Minister of Economy Farid Abdulganiev said that Tatarstan has concluded 523 state contracts for national projects or 94 per cent of their total amount. According to the minister, the forecast for the socio-economic development of Tatarstan for the period until 2024 is generated taking into account the implementation of national projects.
