Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin meets Trade Representative of Kazakhstan in the Russian Federation Nurlan Borambaev

On November 19, at the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin together with representatives of Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade and a representative of Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Kazan Radik Vakhitov had a meeting with Trade Representative of Kazakhstan in the Russian Federation Nurlan Borambaev.

This is the first visit of Borambaev to Tatarstan after his appointment to this post.

Pesoshin emphasized that a fruitful business programme, including the introduction to the industrial and economic potential of Tatarstan and products manufactured by the region’s enterprises, is expected.

Tatarstan Prime Minister briefed about the development of such key industries of Tatarstan as oil production, petrochemicals and oil refining and the machine-building cluster, namely helicopter and aircraft building, KAMAZ heavy cargos manufacturing, shipbuilding, etc.

Borambaev offered to strengthen contacts between the business of Kazakhstan and Tatarstan and to study manufactured industrial products and the opportunities for cooperation in agriculture.

He said that a wide range of industrial products from Tatarstan are already supplied to Kazakhstan.
