On September 2, in Almetyevsk, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Head of Almetyevsk municipal region of the republic Airat Khairullin, Director General of Tatneft Oil Company Nail Maganov and other officials took part in solemn opening of professional skills contest of young workers of Tatneft Oil Company.

On September 2, speaking at the celebration of the Day of Workers of Oil and Gas Industry in Almetyevsk, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that Tatneft Oil Company's staff has been given the highest award of the republic – the Order of Merits for the Republic of Tatarstan.

On September 2, in Almetyevsk, speaking at a solemn event dedicated to the celebration of the Day of Workers of Oil and Gas Industry, Director General of Tatneft Oil Company Nail Maganov said that the company is celebrating the professional holiday with worthy results and the staff is successfully solving ambitious tasks to boost oil production and refining volumes, increase output of products and improve its quality.

On September 2, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Minister of Health Adel Vafin, Head of Almetievsk municipal region Airat Khairullin and other officials took part in the opening ceremony of Almetievsk children’s city polyclinic after major repair.

On September 2, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in opening of training and laboratory complex “College of future of Tatarstan” at Alnas enterprise in Almetievsk. It is a joint project of Chelyabinsk pipe-rolling plant and Tatarstan Government and is aimed at supplying mechanical engineering enterprises of the republic with professional staff in accordance with requirements of the modern production.

On September 2, speaking at a regional video-conference held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Alexey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Akhmetov said that due to the fast pace of the harvesting as many as 70 per cent of grain-sown areas or 1 million 40 thousand hectares have been harvested in Tatarstan by the end of August.
