On September 4, in Kazan, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov held a joint meeting of the Security Council of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Economic Council under the regional Cabinet of Ministers.

On September 4, during their meeting in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Board Chairman of Rosbank Dmitry Olyunin singed a cooperation agreement between the bank and the republic.

On September 4, Russian Presidential Envoy in Volga Federal District Mikhail Babich handed in certificates to judges of the Supreme Court and regional (city) courts of the Republic of Tatarstan. Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Chairman of Supreme Court of the Republic of Tatarstan Ilgiz Gilazov took part in the solemn ceremony.

On September 4, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Plenipotentiary Envoy of the Russian Federation to Volga Federal District Mikhail Babich, State Counsellor of the republic Mintimer Shaimiev, Head of Federal Agency for Ethnic Affairs Igor Barinov, Prime Minister of the republic Alexey Pesoshin, Chairman of the regional Council Farid Mukhametshin, representatives of religious denominations and other officials took part in the solemn opening of the Bolgar Islamic Academy.

On September 4, President of Russia Vladimir Putin sent his greetings to Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and participants of the ceremony on the occasion of the opening of the Bolgar Islamic Academy in Tatarstan.
