On November 29, during his working visit to London, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov held a number of meetings. In particular, he had a meeting with a member of the British Parliament Lord Nazir Ahmed.

During the meeting, Lord Nazir Ahmed noted the dynamic development of Tatarstan as one of industrialized regions of Russia.

On November 29, during his two-day working visit to the United Kingdom, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with senior executives of GlaxoSmithKline Company, one of the world's leading manufacturers of medicines for treating asthma, antibacterial and antiviral drugs, anti-HIV drugs, vaccines, and OTC medicine.

On November 29, a regular board meeting of Tatspirtprom Distillery held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Alexey Pesoshin at the Government House of the republic discussed results of financial and economic activities of the company for the first nine months of 2017.

On November 29, in the regional office of Chairman of the United Russia Party Dmitry Medvedev, Tatarstan Prime Minister Alexey Pesoshin held a reception of citizens by video-link. 

On November 29, speaking at the 33rd session of the regional parliament, Chairman of Tatarstan State Council Farid Mukhametshin said that the Tatar language as the official language of the republic will be studied at schools.

On November 29, on the sidelines of the Russian-British Business Forum in London, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with senior executives of Baring Vostok Company, one of the largest companies engaged in direct investments in Russia and other former Soviet States.

On November 29, at their meeting in the capital of Great Britain, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and senior executives of AstraZeneca Company discussed opportunities and prospects for cooperation between Tatarstan and the company.

On November 29, delivering his welcoming speech at the opening of the third Russian-British Business Forum at the Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre in London, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that Tatarstan is interested in attracting British business, technology and investments to the region.
