As many as 763 houses included in the capital repair programme in Tatarstan with the fund amounting to 8,5 billion roubles

On March 23, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the Prime Minister of Tatarstan Aleksey Pesoshin via video conference with all regions of the republic, Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Aleksey Frolov reported on the implementation of construction programmes in Tatarstan.

The meeting started with a minute of silence in memory of those who died at Crocus City Hall (Krasnogorsk, Moscow Region), on March 22.

Frolov said that 185 educational institutions are being overhauled under the Education national programme, two state and four regional programmes.

As many as 137 facilities in the healthcare industry, including 42 (24 per cent) are being overhauled. The work will start at 40 facilities by the end of April.

The capital repair of 24 cultural facilities and 27 facilities of youth policy is underway in Tatarstan.

In the environmental sector, under the national and federal programme, repair work of the hydraulic engineering facilities, the clearing of riverbeds and the cleaning of lakes is underway at 21 facilities.

The Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Protection of the republic, Tatarstan Ministry of Forestry, the regional Ministry of Agriculture and Food and Tatarstan Ministry of Sport are implementing one regional programme.

During the meeting, Frolov reported on the capital repair of multi-apartment buildings. He said that this year the programme included 763 houses with the funding amounting to 8 billion 468 million roubles.

 

The second part of the report was devoted to the payment discipline of the population for housing and utility services and the debts of enterprises and organizations for supplied energy resources. In February 2024, the level of collection of payments from the population for housing and utility services in the republic increased by 2.8 per cent compared to the same period last year. In January-February of the current year, the average collection rate of payments from the population in Tatarstan was 95.8 per cent.

As of March 1, 2024, the amount of overdue debts for gas from housing and utilities services amounted to 292 million roubles compared to the same period last year, a decrease of 11 million roubles is recorded. The part of consumed electricity for the year recorded a reduction in the amount of debt by almost 51 million rubles.

As of March 1, 2024, the total amount of debt for electricity consumption amounted to 25 million. The debt of management organizations for thermal energy to the Tatenergo Company decreased by 209 million roubles and amounted to 209 million roubles.
