Tatarstan President: Our task is to maintain dynamics of growth in budget revenues

On December 12, at the Kazan City Hall, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Russian Minister of Finance Anton Siluanov, Head of Federal Treasury of Russia Roman Artyukhin, Deputy Head of Federal Tax Service of Russia Andrey Petrushin took part in a joint meeting of Tatarstan Minister of Finance, Department of the Federal Tax Service of the republic, Department of Federal Treasury of the republic.

Minnikhanov noted that tax revenues, customs duties and taxes, payments to non-budgetary funds from the republic totaling 698 billion rubles are expected to be mobilized this year, with 449 billion roubles being tax and non-tax revenues. "Approximately 245 billion roubles (54 per cent) of this amount is a share of the federal budget," he said.

According to Minnihanov, Tatarstan ranks sixth in Russia and occupies the first position in the Volga Federal District in terms of collected tax and non-tax payments to the consolidated budget. "This is the result of our joint systematic work aimed at developing strong economic potential," he said.

"At the end of the year, we slightly corrected the index of industrial production, I think, we are reaching 100.1 or 100.2 per cent in December. This is good news," Minnikhanov said.

"Our task is to maintain dynamics of growth in budget revenues. Being oil-producing republic, we certainly are concerned about the oil market situation, which is quite unstable last days," he went on to say, stressing that the republic "fully meets all the budgetary obligations and the balance is maintained."
