Rustam Minnikhanov visits some enterprises at Alabuga Special Economic Zone

On July 5, during his working visit to Yelabuga region (Tatarstan) to mark the 10th anniversary since the Alabuga Special Econommic Zone foundation, Tatarstan President visited a plant for the float glass production “Trakya Glass Rus”. 

The list of distinguished guests included Mayor of Moscow Sergei Sobianin, Chief of Russian Federal Tax Service Mikhail Mishustin, and others.

Accompanied by Director General of SEZ "Alabuga" Timur Shagivaleev the guests got acquainted with the production facilities and looked around workshops and equipment.

It was said during the presentation, that the volume of investments in production totaled about 200 million dollars. The company specializes in production of glass for the automotive industry.

Then, the distinguished guests visited the Armstrong Building Products plant, which specializes in the manufacturing of ceiling panels. Its products are sold throughout Russia and CIS countries. The plant has plans to enter the world market.

Later on, a meeting on results of work of the special economic zone and prospects for its further development was held.
