Master plan of Admiralty Sloboda presented to Rustam Minnikhanov

On December 12, the master plan of Admiralty Sloboda (Kazan) was presented to Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov at the Tatarstan Government House.

The architect and head of SPEECH architect bureau Sergey Choban told about results of work on the creation of a unique site with modern trends of the world building industry.

The project includes pedestrian area along the Kazanka and Volga Rivers, parks, squares, residential area, and cultural facilities including the museum complex “Admiralty wharf”, the interactive museum of water of the 21st century, concert hall and congress center.

The creation of recreation and tourist area is one of the main ideas of the reconstructed Admiralty Sloboda.

The president positively assessed the master plan saying it is important to stick to the concept. He also liked the project of “Admiralty wharf” and requested to start working design by joint efforts.
