Rustam Minnikhanov hands in keys from cars to winners of regional contest among municipalities

On December 22, during the 11th congress of the Association of the Council of municipalities at the Tatarstan State Council, President of the republic Rustam Minnikhanov handed in keys from new cars to winners of the regional contest among municipalities.

The main criteria for assessment of applications are average annual population size, tax and non-tax income, the number of cattle, commissioning of individual housing, implementation of programmes on the support за small and medium-size enterprises.

In his welcoming speech Rustam Minnikhanov said that municipalities and city districts are the basis of our republic. He expressed hope that the renewal of the vehicle fleet will increase operating efficiency of local self-government.
