President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko congratulates State Counsellor of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev on his 80th anniversary

On the threshold of his 80th anniversary, the first President, State Counsellor of the Republic of Tatarstan, Chairman of the Board of trustees of the Regional foundation of the revival of historical and cultural monuments Mintimer Shaimiev is receiving greetings telegrams.

President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko congratulated Mintimer Shaimiev on the anniversary:

“Dear Mintimer Sharipovich! I congratulate you on your anniversary. People in Belarus know you as a wise and forward-looking politician. Social and economic achievements of Tatarstan, peace and stability in the region are connected with your name. Your generosity, wisdom and reasonableness in state affairs inspire respect. Due to your support relations between Belarus and Tatarstan will be actively developing in future. I wish you strong health, power and longevity, and implementation of all your plans.”

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Russia Igor Petrishenko also sent telegrams to Mintimer Shaimiev.
