Rustam Minnikhanov visits sites of the regional WorldSkills championship at Kazan Construction College

On February 2, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited sites of the regional WorldSkills championship “Young professionals” at Kazan Construction College. Participants of the contest demonstrated their skills in 15 areas.

Rustam Minnikhanov and other honoured guests learnt about the work of young specialists and talked to the competitors and experts.

Minnikhanov noted that it was decided to hold competitions at the Kazanskaya yarmarka exhibition center as well as other resource centers such as Kazan technical school of information technologies and communications.

A training online game “ZHEKA” for mastering modern energy-saving technologies and learning the ways of reducing payments for housing and utility services was shown to Rustam Minnikhanov. The president said that such forms of increasing legal literacy of population should be supported.

Russian Deputy Minister of Construction, Housing and Utility Services Khamit Mavliyarov, Director General of the "Housing and Public Utilities Reformation Support Fund" Konstantin Tsitsin, Tatarstan Minister of Education and Science Engel Fattakhov and other officials took part in the event.
