Rustam Minnikhanov visits agricultural fairs during Volga agro-industrial forum

On February 15, during Volga agro-industrial forum, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited agricultural fairs at the 20th international exhibition “Agricultural complex: Interagro. Animed. Farmer of the Volga region” and 17th exhibition “Volgaprodexpo” (Kazanskaya yarmarka exhibition center, Kazan).

Rustam Minnikhanov and Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Akhmetov were told about New Holland and Claas agricultural machinery.   

Tatarstan Ministry of Agriculture and Food presented the exposition “Agro-industrial complex of the Republic of Tatarstan” and its sections “Economy”, “Science, personnel”, “Plant growing”, “Animal farming”, and “Mechanization”. Each section revealed development trends of agriculture, implementation of innovative technologies, technical maintenance, and development of agricultural industry in general.

Minnikhanov was told about new mineral fertilizers used in the republic, plant protection and development of machinery park in regions.

Kazan state academy of veterinary medicine named after N.E.Bauman and Kazan state agricultural university presented their programmes of staff training and professional development.
