Governor of Samarkand region of the Republic of Uzbekistan Himmat Okbutaev arrives in Kazan

On March 12, Governor of Samarkand region of the Republic of Uzbekistan Himmat Okbutaev, who arrived on a working visit in Kazan, was met by Prime Minister of Tatarstan Ildar Khalikov at the Kazan International Airport.

During his stay in the republic, Himmat Okbutayev will visit the Alabuga Special Economic Zone, production facilities of the KAMAZ Automaker, the Regional engineering center of medical simulators “Center of medical science" / ”Eidos”, the Kazan agro-industrial park, and will get acquainted with the development of IT-technologies in Tatarstan by visiting the IT-park and the city of Innopolis.

Besides, he will take part in the opening of the 18th International specialized exhibition "Energy. Resource Saving" to be held at the Kazanskaya Yarmarka Exhibition Center. Later on, Okbutayev will make a presentation of the economic potential of the Samarkand region at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the republic.

On March 14, 2017 a meeting with Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov is scheduled. The meeting will take place at the Kazan Kremlin and will outline steps for the further development of interregional cooperation.
