Rustam Minnikhanov: We will be glad to expand our contacts between Ferdowsi University of Mashhad and educational institutions of Tatarstan

On April 20, during his working visit to Razavi Khorasan Province, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov accompanied by the Governor of Iranian Razavi Khorasan Province Ali Reza Rashidiyan , Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russia to Iran Levan Dzhagaryan, Aide to Tatarstan President Radik Gimatdinov, and other officials visited Ferdowsi University of Mashhad.

At his meeting with rectorate of the university, Rustam Minnikhanov said that Ferdowsi University is one of the biggest and oldest universities in Iran, where students study natural sciences and humanities. H also told that Tatarstan is considered to be one of the best research centers in Russia. Fundamental and applied researches are conducted in the republic. There are 28 higher educational institutions in the republic.

“The exchange of students and interuniversity cooperation is one of priority areas in our work,” Rustam Minnikhanov said.
