Rustam Minnikhanov has a meeting with Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation Magomedsalam Magomedov

On April 21, at his office in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation Magomedsalam Magomedov.

Magomedov said that an event important both for Tatarstan and the whole country, the Third Congress of the Peoples of Tatarstan, will be held in the republic tomorrow (April 22, 2017).

"Russian President Vladimir Putin is keeping up with these events. He gave me an errand to greet participants and guests of the congress of the peoples of Tatarstan," Magomedov said. "This is a sign of respect for the people of the republic, confidence in the leadership of the republic and good and great achievements that Tatarstan is demonstrating in the economy, being one of Russia's leading regions."

Magomedov stressed that what events that are being held in the region are important both for hospitable Tatarstan and for the entire multinational country as a whole.

He also noted that a very extensive and informative programme was prepared for participants of the congress.

Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration said that he is sure that Tatarstan will become the country's tourist centre soon.

In his turn Minnikhanov reminded that the tourist flow to the republic is increasing every year, noting that all conditions have been created for tourists in the republic. About 2.9 million people visited Tatarstan in 2016, which is 7.5 per cent more than a year earlier, he said.
