Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in opening of new improved public spaces in Muslyumovo village

On August 15, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov accompanied by Aide to Tatarstan President Natalia Fishman and other officials took part in the opening of new improved public spaces in Muslyumovo village.

They visited the landscape park “Solnechny Ik”, “Ierek” Square, and “Hay market”.

A solemn opening of the first stage of “Solnechny Ik” embankment was held on August 22, 2016. The project is based on the concept “The link of times”.

The restoration of the natural balance of the Ik River was the main task set before architects. The river was cleaned from rubbish. There are walking and cycling lanes, sightseeing platforms, beach area, car parking, and a multi-purpose pavilion on the embankment. An amphitheater and children’s playground were built at the festival area.

Two sports grounds, stands for fans, and a pump track will be built on the second part of the embankment.

“Ierek” Square was also improved and “Hay market” area for holding festive events were organized in Pushkin street.
