A number of agreements signed during the 86th Izmir International Fair

On August 19, during the 86th Izmir International Fair, Minister of Energy of Russia Aleksandr Novak and Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in the official ceremony of signing a number of agreements between Russia and Turkish enterprises.

In particular, Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tatarstan and Izmir Province singed an agreement aimed at creating conditions to attract investment, establish interaction between free economic zones, protect rights of businessmen, etc.

During the Fair, members of Tatarstan delegation held talks with the Exporters' Union of Aegean Region. The experience of this union in terms of supporting the export of local products to local markets and forms of state support for local producers is of interest for Tatarstan.

The Protocol on Intentions to create a joint venture between KAMAZ Automaker and Tirsan Kardan Turkish company for the production of driveshafts in Russia was also signed on the sidelines of the 86th Izmir International Fair.
