Rustam Minnikhanov: More than 26.8 mln tonnes of oil produced for nine months in Tatarstan

On October 26, at a meeting on results of activity of oil companies of the Republic of Tatarstan, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that positive dynamics in oil production is maintained and 26.8 mln tonnes of oil have been produced for nine months of the current year, with the Tatneft Oil Company having produced 21.4 mln tonnes and small oil companies – 5.427 tonnes.

Heads of ministries and agencies of the republic, subdivisions of federal agencies and representatives of big oil companies took part in the meeting.

Minnikhanov noted that small oil companies shipped produce for the sum of 82 bln roubles. Tax payments in all budgets have made 54 bln roubles. Due to positive dynamics in oil industry there is an industrial growth in the republic.  

Director General of ZAO “Neftekonsortsium” Fanis Valiev addressed Tatarstan President with a request. All oil production facilities must be equipped with local alarm systems and structure monitoring systems regardless of the remoteness from residential areas. However, there are no regulatory documents for oil production facilities, and it makes the design and putting into operation difficult.

Fanis Valiev suggested creating a technical council for representatives of the Ministry of emergency situations, Federal Service of Environmental, Technological and Nuclear Supervision, General Board of State Expert Review, oil companies and project organizations. Rustam Minnikhanov supported the idea.

Rustam Minnikhanov congratulated Neftekonsortsium Company on the 20th anniversary and handed over the Commendation of the Tatarstan President for the contribution to the development of oil industry in Tatarstan.
