Aleksey Pesoshin visits a greenhouse for growing flowers and vegetables in Apastovo

On February 26, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin paid a working visit to Apastovo municipal region of the republic to take part in a summing-up meeting of the local Council on the results of the socio-economic development of the municipality.

Before the event, Pesoshin accompanied by Head of the region Ravil Khisamutdinov visited a greenhouse, which specializes in growing flowers and vegetables. With a total area of 6.5 hectares, including 3.6 hectares of covered land, the greenhouse employs 24 people.

The Prime Minister looked around production workshops, got acquainted with technologies used in the greenhouse, and was told about plans for the further development of the complex.

Pesoshin was informed that 380 tonnes of cucumbers, 140 tonnes of tomatoes, 3 thousand tulips and 1.6 million annual flowers were grown in the greenhouse in 2019. The products are sold mainly in Tatarstan, and are also delivered to Moscow, Samara and Ulyanovsk.
