Tatarstan President signed a Decree on announcing November 18, 2013 a day of mourning for people died in a plane crash

Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov signed a decree on announcing a day of mourning because of a crash of a Boeing aircraft belonging to Tatarstan Airlines that happened on November 17, 2013 (Decree No. UP-1119).

“Because of the tragic deaths of people in a crash of a Boeing aircraft belonging to Tatarstan Airlines that happened on November 17, 2013 at Kazan international airport, expressing my sympathy and condolences to the relatives and friends of those who perished, I declare:

1. To announce November 18, 2013 a day of mourning in Tatarstan

2. To lower state flags of the Republic of Tatarstan over the whole territory of the Republic of Tatarstan on the day of mourning.

3. To offer TV companies and cultural institutions to cancel entertainment TV programs and events on the day of mourning.

4. The Cabinet of Ministers shall prepare suggestions on rendering assistance to the bereaved families.

5. The present Decree shall come into force and effect on the day of its signing.

On 24 April, speaking at a briefing dedicated to the preservation of cultural heritage sites and confined to the International Day of Historical Monuments and Sites held in the Government House of the republic, the Aid to the Rais of Tatarstan Olesya Baltusova informed that in 2024 the Rebus Forum will be held on 14-15 November. She reminded that in the current year the forum will be named “Aglomerations: Experience, Opportunities. Challenges” and will be held with participation of China “as it will take place during the ROSTCI Forum.”

“Zero” day of the Russian Venture Forum held in Innopolis

On 24 April Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov together with speakers and experts, investors, representatives of start-ups and venture funds, large corporations and development institutes took part in events of the “zero” day of the Russian Venture Forum dedicated to the topic of “Technological Entrepreneurship: the space of highest skills.

The VOIN (Warrior) Center and Tatarstan Government sign a cooperation agreement

On 24 April Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Rustam Nigmatullin on behalf of the Government of the republic and the Director of the VOIN Center Igor Kazarezov signed an agreement on cooperation between the Government of the republic and the Center, which envisages interaction in issues of patriotic upbringing and military and sports training of youngsters.

As many as 100 cultural heritage sites will be examined and taken under state protection in Tatarstan

On 24 April, speaking at a briefing in the Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers, the Chairman of the Regional Committee on protection of Cultural Heritage Sites Ivan Guschin informed that in 2024 the Committee initiated historical and cultural expertise of nearly 100 sites and 20 archeological monuments to take them under state protection.
