The Republic of Tatarstan and Pochta Bank sign cooperation agreement

On June 1, during the St Petersburg International Economic Forum, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and President – Board Chairman of Russian Pochta Bank Dmitry Rudnko signed a cooperation agreement between Tatarstan and the Bank.

The document envisages close cooperation between the parties to increase the availability of banking services for people living in the republic and the development of banking infrastructure in the region.

"Tatarstan is one of the most dynamically developing regions of Russia and has significant economic potential. The banking market of the republic is highly competitive. We will continue to build up the bank's network in the region. This year the number of bank offices will double. This will additionally create about 170 new jobs, for which we are attracting mainly graduates from local universities," Rudenko said.

At present, Pochta Bank has about 150 offices in Tatarstan. By the end of 2017, there will be more than 300 branches of the bank in Kazan, Naberezhnye Chelny, Almetyevsk, Yelabuga, Nizhnekamsk, Leninogorsk and other cities. The bank's ATM network will exceed 100 devices in the republic.
