Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov arrives on a working visit in Munich

On September 18, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, who arrived on a two-day working visit in the capital of Bavaria, Munich (Federal Republic of Germany), was met by Consul General of the Russian Federation in Munich Sergey Ganzha at the airport.

During his stay in Munich, Tatarstan President will visit Siemens’ headquarters and one of the world’s leading cardiac surgery facility – the German Heart Centre in Munich, where he will get acquainted with a number of projects of the centre and presentations of state-of-the-art medical equipment.

Besides, Minnikhanov will visit headquarters of IBM"s Watson Internet of Things (Watson IoT), where he will familiarize himself with company’s solutions for industrial sector using cognitive systems.

It is expected that on the 19th of September, Minnikhanov will have a meeting with Prime Minister of Bavaria Horst Seehofer and representatives of Bavarian business circles.

Minnikhanov’s itinerary also includes meetings with Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Knorr-Bremse Heinz Thiele and Director General of Linde AG Professor Dr Aldo Belloni.
