Rustam Minnikhanov meets Special Adviser to the Japanese Prime Minister Eiichi Hasegawa

On October 2, during his working visit to Japan, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with Special Adviser to the Japanese Prime Minister Eiichi Hasegawa in Tokyo.

Speaking at the meeting, Minnikhanov thanked Hasegawa for the opportunity to meet. Tatarstan President has held various meetings with Hasegawa in Japan. In his turn, Hasegawa has visited the republic three times.

Minnikhanov emphasized that it is very important that a solid delegation of Japanese businessmen always comes to the republic to discuss concrete projects.

Tatarstan President continued that yesterday he took part in the meeting between Russian Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich and Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, which was held during the Science and Technology in Society forum in Kyoto.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has met repeatedly with Prime Minister of Japan Shinzo Abe and this also gives us greater confidence, Minnikhanov stressed.

Summing up, Minnikhanov invited Eiichi Hasegawa to visit Tatarstan again and expressed his hope for further support in the development of joint  projects between Tatarstan and Japan.

The meeting also discussed a number of working issues and topics related to cooperation in some areas.

Minister of Information and Communication of the republic Roman Shaikhutdinov, Aide to Tatarstan President Radik Gimatdinov, Head of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Taliya Minullina and other regional officials took part in the meeting.
