Ildar Khalikov wishes volunteers of «Volunteers’ Academy» camp positive emotions and friendly communication

The second international youth volunteer camp «Volunteers’ Academy» has opened on the territory of Universiade Village in Kazan. RT Premier Ildar Khalikov, First Vice-president of FISU Oleg Matytsyn, rector of Kazan federal university Ilshat Gafurov attended the opening ceremony.
More than 500 volunteers from 48 Russian regions and foreign countries aged 18-30 have gathered in youth volunteer camp «Volunteers’ Academy» . The project is being realized within the limits of preparation for XXVII World summer student games 2013 in Kazan for the purpose of developing volunteer movement in Russia. The camp will be opened on September 19-25, 2011.
Greeting volunteers on Tatarstan land Head of RT Government wished them to spend time usefully and enjoy staying in the camp, positive emotions and friendly communication.
“Today Kazan is known as the capital of summer Universiade in Russia and all around the world. Not much time is left till this international event”, - Ildar Khalikov said.
First Vice-president of FISU Oleg Matytsyn noted that representatives of all Russian regions had come to Kazan. He agreed with Ildar Khalikov that Kazan has become well-known in all countries around the world. “We have a unique opportunity to become a friendly, united team of Universiade, real partners of Universiade and bring happiness to our universities”, - Oleg Matytsyn said.
Volunteers pronounced in chorus “Promise of a volunteer” by which they agreed to “present “team-2013” in a proper manner”, “tell everyone about wins and events of Universiade 2013”.

The volunteer camp «Volunteers’ Academy» was organized by the Ministry of youth affairs, sport and tourism and ANO “Executive office “Kazan 2013” with support of RF Ministry of sport, tourism and youth policy and Directorate of youth affairs and sport of European Council.
Main activities at the camp will include educational, sport and creative actions, aimed to preparation of volunteers for large sport events. There are five main areas - Volunteers Kazan 2013, Reporter Volunteers Kazan 2013, Recruiter Volunteers Kazan 2013, Educator Volunteers Kazan 2013, Creator Volunteers Kazan 2013.master classes and creative studios will be organized in the camp so that representatives of various volunteer organizations can exchange experience and work out the interaction pattern during preparation of volunteers “Kazan 2013”. Studies will be carried out by training teachers specializing in holding sport events.
On 13 April in his congratulatory address on the occasion of the Maecenas and Benefactor Day, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: "Tatarstan has always been known for its generous and kind-hearted people who are ready to help the needy and support important social, cultural and educational projects. On 4 April , speaking at a closing ceremony of the XX Russian Venture Forum held at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the Russian Venture Forum has confirmed its status of the point of attraction of technological development leaders.
The Forum created a unified scientific, technological and investment space where scientific ideas are transformed into competitive products, and startups gain access to capital and markets. Its business programme is organically integrated into the regional and federal agenda for achieving technological sovereignty and leadership of Russia, he said.
On 1 April Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Russian Minister of Healthcare Mikhail Murashko introduced Ayrat Farrakhov, who was appointed the Acting Rector of Kazan State Medical University (KSMU) to its staff.
In his speech Mikhail Murashko emphasized that today KSMU is rightfully considered one of the most respected in the country and said:”Ayrat (Zakievich) has been officially appointed the Acting Rector and I am sure that under his leadership the University will maintain the positions it has achieved and, of course, will continue its development.”
