Rustam Minnikhanov meets Director General of Emerson Company in Russia Nikolay Shestakov

On October 23, at his meeting with Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov in Houston (USA), Director General of Emerson Company in Russia Nikolay Shestakov briefly told about the company’s history that was founded in 1890.

The company has 155 production enterprises and 74,000 employees around the world. It opened a representative office in Russia in 1992. Emerson became the co-founder and strategic partner of Metran industrial group in 2004.

Shestakov informed that the company has 38 regional offices and 15 service centers in Russia. As for Tatarstan, the company’s equipment is used at Tatneft, TANECO, Nizhnekamskneftekhim pharmaceutical company, Nizhnekamskshina, Kazanorgsintez, and TAIF-NK.

It was noted during the meeting that the company is willing to cooperate closer with Tatarstan enterprises in many spheres.

Shestakov also informed Minnikhanov that Emerson and Tatneft signed a memorandum of understanding in the sphere of development and optimization of oil and gas production, oil refining and petrochemistry.
