Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in the launch of the Breakthrough Leadership educational programme for regional top managers in San Francisco

On October 24, in San Francisco, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in the launch of the Breakthrough Leadership educational programme for top managers of Tatarstan.

President of AmBar (American Business Association of Russian speaking professionals) Anna Dvornikova welcomed participants of the programme.

She also made a presentation of books by Charles O'Reilly "Lead and Disrupt" and Robert Burgelman "Becoming Hewlett Packard" translated into Russian and handed in autographed copies to Minnikhanov.

Addressing participants of the programme, Minnikhanov noted that this training is not a tribute paid to fashion, but a necessity. According to him, today it is especially important to be fully up to date in world trends to be able to apply innovations in the republic.

Minnikhanov wished them success and expressed his confidence that they would like the training.

Then, Tony Seba, a world-known speaker, delivered a lecture titled "Clean Disruption of Energy and Transportation: How Silicon Valley Will Make Oil, Nuclear, Natural Gas, Coal, Electric Utilities and Conventional Cars Obsolete by 2030".

As many as 100 cultural heritage sites will be examined and taken under state protection in Tatarstan

On 24 April, speaking at a briefing in the Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers, the Chairman of the Regional Committee on protection of Cultural Heritage Sites Ivan Guschin informed that in 2024 the Committee initiated historical and cultural expertise of nearly 100 sites and 20 archeological monuments to take them under state protection.

On 17 April Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in an ad-hoc meeting of the Pestretsy municipality Council of the republic, where he introduced the new Acting Head of the Executive Committee of the region Rais Suleymanov who replaced the Head of the Committee Vadim Nikitin who submitted an application about early termination of his appointment.
