President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov makes working visit to Singapore and Australia from September 25 to 29

From 25 to 29 September of 2011, President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov is on a working visit to Singapore and Australia.
From 25 to 26 September head of Tatarstan takes part in a work of the Russian-Singapore business forum -2011. This year the forum is aimed at discussing possibilities of developing traditional and new emerging markets. One of the sessions is devoted to discussing the trends in fast developing region Greater China Growth Area – this zone covers Eastern and South-Eastern Asia.
Among the speakers at the Russia-Singapore forum are RF Sberbank general director German Gref, Troika Dialogue group of companies board chairman Ruben Vardanyan and President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikahnov.
From September 27 to 28 Rustam Minnikhanov will stay in Australia where the number of business meetings is scheduled. In particular, meeting with representatives of Tatar Diaspora is planned likewise.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
