Rustam Minnikhanov: Your energy will help us achieve great success

On November 18, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with Director Zhu Zhiwei during his visit to the Shenzhen High-Tech Industrial Park.

Making a presentation of the Shenzhen High-Tech Industrial Technology Park, Zhu Zhiwei said that the park is one of the leaders among 156 technoparks located in the People's Republic of China. It offers conditions for research and development in the field of info-communication technologies, and is an incubator for the creation of scientific and technical solutions and their introduction in industrial production.

Minnikhanov noted that the delegation of the Republic of Tatarstan is glad to visit the technopark and exchange opinions about possible cooperation.

"The development of information and communication technology and innovations is one of our priorities. Tatarstan is the foremost Russian region in introducing innovative technology into everyday life. The first stage of the Innopolis city opened in the republic. It is intended to become Russia’s number one site in the field of information and communication technology. The city has a university with a focus on research in the IT field. Moreover, there is the technopark in the sphere of high technologies "IT-park" in Kazan, which houses the largest business incubator in Russia. We want to cooperate with you. I am sure that your energy will help us achieve great success. I invite you to come to Kazan together with Chinese companies who are ready to cooperate with us on mutually beneficial terms," he stressed and called for cooperation in different areas.

An agreement on mutual understanding between the Kazan IT Park and the Shenzhen High-Tech Industrial Park was signed during the meeting.
