On November 29, on the sidelines of the Russian-British Business Forum in London, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with senior executives of Baring Vostok Company, one of the largest companies engaged in direct investments in Russia and other former Soviet States.
According to the representatives of the company founded in 1994, there are great prospects for the company’s presence in Russia. They sited the Yandex Company as a successful example of investing in Russian companies. Investments in the Centre for Financial Technologies and the Perm Novomet Group of Companies were successful as well, they added.
Minnikhanov noted that the cooperation with Baring Vostok has good prospects. He invited the representatives of the company to visit Tatarstan to look into opportunities for investing in the regional companies and establishing a dialogue on further cooperation.
"I am sure that we have all the opportunities for successful implementation of joint projects to attract investments to Tatarstan," Minnikhanov said.
During the meeting, the representatives of Baring Vostok were also presented the opportunities of the Innopolis Special Economic Zone and the University of Innopolis located in Tatarstan.
