Tatarstan to get 1 bln roubles from the Fund of assistance to reformation of housing and communal services in 2012

In 2012 the Fund of assistance to reformation of housing and communal services will allocate 1 bln roubles for Tatarstan, Director-general of the Fund Konstantin Tsitsin stated at a meeting in the RT Cabinet on issues of realization of the programs meant for major repairs of multi-apartment houses and resettlement of citizens from hazardous accommodation. The meeting was held by the Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov.
Opening the event head of the Republic highlighted that within four years Tatarstan managed to complete half of the unfinished work. Speaking about the program of resettling citizens from hazardous accommodation Rustam Minnikhanov marked 2011 was rather difficult for republic. “Failures happened and I would like to present apologies. Nevertheless, we will implement the program and all requirements of the signed agreement will be fulfilled”, - RT President addressed Konstantin Tsitsin.

Director-general of the Fund of assistance to reformation of housing and communal services Konstantin Tsitsin informed since the State Corporation was founded federation subjects have received 367 bln roubles taking into account regional co-financing, of which 6,2 % went to Tatarstan, the largest part/share among all Russian regions.
According to Konstantin Tsitsin such results were achieved due to serious work carried out in republic. He emphasized the importance of regional fund of reformation of housing and communal services founded in Tatarstan and was rather satisfied with realization of major repair program in Tatarstan.
Director-general of the State corporation informed about predecision of allocating 1 bln roubles for Tatarstan in 2012, 60 % of which are meant for the major repair program and 40 % for resettlement of citizens from hazardous accommodation. Moreover, subject to timely realization of the programs in 2011 Tatarstan may expect receiving of additional 250 mln roubles.
Konstantin Tsitsin also made some suggestions and comments addressed to Tatarstan. Thus, the information system on multi-apartment houses and revealing information by managing companies is functioning not efficiently enough in republic.
Head of the Fund reminded as well the powers of housing inspectorate were enlarged but this toll is not yet being used in full.
The Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov accepted all comments of Konstantin Tsitsin and charged the Ministry of info and communications with creating the info system on multi-apartment houses as soon as possible.
On 9 June upon his arrival to the Kazan International Airport, the Russian Minister for Foreign Affairs Sergey Lavrov was welcomed by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin.
In Kazan Sergey Lavrov will take part in a meeting of the Council of Ministers for Foreign Affairs of State-Participants of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO).
On 5 May, speaking at a regular meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with participation of the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector of the republic Marat Ayzatullin informed that currently 63 school catering units are under repairs with the amount of work completed reaching 15 per cent.
On May 26, speaking at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic held in a videoconference mode with participation of all municipal regions of Tatarstan and focused on events scheduled for June 1, International Children’s Day, as well as the implementation of the “Summer in Tatarstan” programme, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva appealed that parents should closely supervise their children during recreational activities near water in order to prevent accidents.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
