As of December 8, 2017, as many as 2,111,600 square meters of housing commissioned in Tatarstan

On December 9, speaking at a regional video-conference held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov with participation of Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin and all regions of the republic, First  regional Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Utilities Aleksey Frolov reported that as of December 8, 2017, as many as 2,111,600 square meters of housing have been commissioned in Tatarstan, which makes 100 per cent as compared to the same period last year.

He continued that 152 houses for 6,066 apartments with the total area of 399,500 square meters have been put into operation under the social mortgage programme.

The deputy minister also reported that the regional programme of construction of rural clubs has been fully completed, with 31 facilities having been built.

Major repairs at 26 facilities of the State Veterinary Service and 15 facilities of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the republic have been finished as well, Faizullin continued.

Speaking at the meeting, Minnikhanov asked to focus on the broader coverage of the information on the implementation of the regional programmes and the progress made in the construction of social facilities, rural clubs, and sports facilities in the municipal regions of the republic.

It was planned to build 17 houses for 387 apartments with the total area of 22,600 square metres in 2017 under the programme of rental housing. As many as 16 houses for 363 apartments with the area of 21,700 square metres have been put into operation.

As part of the implementation of the rights of orphans and children left without parental care, the process of purchasing 305 residential accommodations in the republic's ownership is underway. As of December 8, 2017, the republic has bought 203 apartments and provided orphans with housing under residential lease agreements.

The capital repair of 74 outpatient centres and polyclinics is under way in Kazan, Naberezhnye Chelny, Nizhnekamsk and Almetyevsk. As of December 7, works have been completed in eight policlinics in Kazan, and in one in Naberezhnye Chelny.

Since the beginning of the current year the State Construction Inspectorate and State Labour Inspectorate of the republic have carried out 1,802 inspections and issued 490 decisions for the sum of 14,605,000 roubles for violations of labour safety rules and regulations.

Speaking at the meeting, Minnikhanov said that all the programmes implemented in the republic this year should be completed before the deadline.
