A section of bypass highway today has been put into operation in Almetievsk. Acting RT President Ildar Khalikov took part in an official ceremony. Deputy of RF State Duma Foat Komarov, RT Minister of transport and road facilities Lenar Safin, Head of Almetievsk region Rishat Abubakirov also attended the ceremony.
Construction of this road started in 2000 but commissioning was delayed due to the shifting funding. Finally 413 mln roubles were channeled by the republican budget in 2008, 2010 and 2011 years. Thus, the planned construction of the two traffic lanes was finished.
The highway section stretches for 5,87 km, the traffic is currently opened on the two lanes. Total cost of the V phase was more than 500 mln roubles. The building owner is GKU “Tatavtodortrans”, the designer- TatNIPIneft institute, the contractor - JSC “SMP -Neftegas”.
Acting RT President Ildar Khalikov marked many objects are being now constructed in republic including kindergartens, houses, sport centres, but new roads make people happy above all. He reminded as well that Almetievsk is a leader among Russian cities by the level of automobilization and faces the utmost need for new highways.
Ildar Khalikov thanked builders for the quality of implemented work, notably Deputy of RF State Duma and shareholder of JSC “SMP -Neftegas” Foat Komarov for his company carried out works during an uneasy period spending their own funds, however using advanced construction technologies.
Ildar Khalikov appreciated as well the contribution of Tatneft company into construction and improvement of a new highway.
In conclusion, acting RT President presented state awards to builders and afterwards honorable guests cut a symbolic ribbon thus opening the traffic.
On 13 April in his congratulatory address on the occasion of the Maecenas and Benefactor Day, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: "Tatarstan has always been known for its generous and kind-hearted people who are ready to help the needy and support important social, cultural and educational projects. The glorious traditions are continued by modern philanthropists and patrons of Tatarstan.
On 12 April in his address to residents of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated them with the Space Exploration Day and said: “April 12, 1961 has forever been inscribed into the world history as the day of triumph of the Soviet science and engineering thought. The flight of Yuriy Gagarin opened the way to the stars for the humankind and demonstrated to the whole world the might of our country.
On 4 April , speaking at a closing ceremony of the XX Russian Venture Forum held at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the Russian Venture Forum has confirmed its status of the point of attraction of technological development leaders.
The Forum created a unified scientific, technological and investment space where scientific ideas are transformed into competitive products, and startups gain access to capital and markets. Its business programme is organically integrated into the regional and federal agenda for achieving technological sovereignty and leadership of Russia, he said.
On 1 April Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Russian Minister of Healthcare Mikhail Murashko introduced Ayrat Farrakhov, who was appointed the Acting Rector of Kazan State Medical University (KSMU) to its staff.
In his speech Mikhail Murashko emphasized that today KSMU is rightfully considered one of the most respected in the country and said:”Ayrat (Zakievich) has been officially appointed the Acting Rector and I am sure that under his leadership the University will maintain the positions it has achieved and, of course, will continue its development.”
