Mintimer Shaimiev: Elections arouse hope for the best

On December 4 State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev took part in elections of State Duma deputies of the 6th convocation. He came to the voting precinct №56 located in Kazan military school with his wife Sakina hanum.
After the voting procedure Mintimer Shaimiev answered journalists’ questions. He marked the youth was not so active in hard times, in the beginning of perestroika (restructuring). “It means today young people are interested in the future of our country”, State Counsellor said.
By words of Mintimer Shaimiev any elections arouse hope for the best. “During this election campaign leadership of our country and Republic have held many meetings with citizens. Every meeting is so important, people have the right to hope for fulfillment of their desires, to get feedback to their requests, suggestions. For sure, it all cannot be realized, but all ideas expressed by citizens have to be taken into consideration”, RT State Counsellor believes.
Mintimer Shaimiev highlighted positive social and economic changes in the country and our Republic. He reminded as well about the problem on separation of powers between RF subjects and federal centre raised by the country’s leadership before elections.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
