Tatarstan takes the fourth place among Russian regions by housing construction in 2011

137,3 thousand m² of housing have been commissioned in Tatarstan in January 2012, including 42,4 thousand m² - by the program of social mortgage, 44 thousand m² - multi-apartment investment housing, low-rise housing – 50,0 thousand m². Such data was given by RT Minister of construction, architecture and housing Irek Faizullin at a republican meeting in the House of RT Government on January, 27.

The meeting in format of video conference was held by Tatarstan PM Ildar Khalikov.

Irek Faizullin informed according to the final data of Federal State statistics service 2 mln 396 thousand m² of housing were commissioned in the Republic of Tatarstan in 2011. By this parameter Republic takes the fourth place in Russia after Moscow, Krasnodar regions and St.Petersburg.

By words of Head of RT Ministry of construction 110 houses for 354 veterans of Great Patriotic War are planned to be constructed by the 9th of May 2012. He also informed another tranche in the amount of 690 mln 158 thousand was allocated to Republic.

As for the program of liquidation of failing housing stock, the number of dilapidated houses was reduced from 319 to 262 thousand m², Head of the ministry said. 30 municipalities of Republic took part in realization of the program.
