Rustam Minnikhanov visits Udmurt school in Baltasi region

RT President Rustam Minnikhanov has visited a secondary school in a village Malye Lyzi within his working trip to Baltasi and Kukmor regions of Tatarstan Republic.

Being located in the village with mainly Udmurt population Malye -Lyzinsky school has got a national status and is named after famous Udmurt writer Grigory Medvedev.

Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov looked in classes and spoke to pupils. Head of Republic noted though it is the Udmurt school pupils and teachers speak Tatar well. It is a good example for all national schools in Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov believes.

Rustam Minnikhanov also met with veterans of Great Patriotic War living in Baltasi region and looked over an exhibition of agricultural enterprises of the region in Central house of culture. Later on RT President took part in a session of the Council of Baltasi municipal region of the Republic.
