RF Minster of transport Igor Levitin arrives in Kazan with a working visit

The minister of transport of the Russian Federation Igor Levitin has arrived in the Republic of Tatarstan with a working visit. The minister was met by RT Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov and RT Minister of transport Lenar Safin in the international airport “Kazan”.
Upon arrival Head of RF ministry of transport inspected reconstruction of the international airport “Kazan” within preparation for summer Universiade-2013 in the Tatarstan capital which implies construction of plate structures and organization of intermodal transport.
Later on Igor Levitin and his party viewed a number of objects of Kazan transport infrastructure under construction, including multi-level junctions.
In the afternoon RF Minster of transport Igor Levitin is going to attend a solemn ceremony of delivering state awards of Russia to the crew of “Arabella” motor vessel (the Kazan Kremlin), hold a session of working group on transport infrastructure and logistics of the Council under RF President on development of physical culture, sport, elite sport, preparation for XXII winter Olympic games and XI Paralympic winter games 2014 in Sochi, XXVII World summer universiade 2013 in Kazan.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
