RT President suggests paying much attention to training of specialists for rural areas

Rural areas cannot develop without livestock industry, President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov stated at a republican agricultural seminar-meeting on issues of agro-industrial complex.
The meeting was held in Mamadysh municipal region (regional House of culture).
Rustam Minnikhanov suggested focusing on minor forms of household for development of livestock sector, especially in those regions where big investors are not involved yet. He noted that there are projects in republic to be realized, like construction of sectional livestock farms. We have to pay more attention to training of specialists for rural areas, RT President said. He added that today not only agrarians, but teachers and other competent specialists are in demand in the country.
We have to give agrarians an opportunity to sell their production, provide access to markets, Rustam Minnikhanov said. He reminded that an Agro-industrial park is being constructed in Kazan for these purposes, and the same object will appear in Chistopol.
“The issue of supporting agricultural producers must be always controlled by the Ministry of agriculture and foodstuff,” Rustam Minnikhanov said. He thanked leadership of the ministry for organizing agricultural fairs in Tatarstan cities.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “

There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
