Nine people died on water bodies in Tatarstan last week

On July 20, speaking at a video-conference held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of all regions of the republic, Minister of Civil Defense and Emergency Situations of the republic - Head of the Main Directorate of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in Tatarstan Rafis Khabibullin reported that nine people died on water bodies in the republic last week, which is 50 per cent more than a week earlier (six people).

Khabibullin said that after the meeting last week, 17 municipalities have promptly provided information on activities to ensure water safety of people, while the rest of the regions have not provided such information.

Pesoshin gave an errand to report about the regions that have not provided information on ensuring safety on water bodies of the republic at the next meeting.
