On July, 20 speaking at the Government House of the republic at a regional video-conference held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of all regional municipalities, Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Utilities of the republic Irek Faizullin reported that since the beginning of the current year the State Construction Inspectorate and State Labour Inspectorate of the republic have carried out 749 inspections and issued 246 decisions on imposing fines for the sum of 9,235,000 roubles for violations of labour safety rules and regulations.

Faizullin also reported on the data of injuries in the construction industry in the republic and added that all cases were registered at the commercial construction sites. He asked to strengthen the work of municipal commissions on occupational health and safety compliance at the construction sites.

The Minister continued that as of July 19, as many as 279,100 square meters of housing, which makes 53.2 per cent of the plan, have been commissioned in Tatarstan.

Presidential State Housing Fund of the republic has reported to the statistics agencies on 104 houses for 2,831 apartments with the area of 153,900 square meters under the social mortgage programme.

As part of implementation of investment programme in 2018, as many as 87of 176 facilities are at a high state of readiness.

He also reported that under the programme of rental housing, it is planned to commission 182 houses for 545 apartments with the total area of 28,700 square meters, including three houses for 365 apartments in the city of Innopolis and 179 individual houses in 12 municipal regions of the republic.

According to the minister, it is planned to provide 297 orphans with housing under residential lease at the total cost of 355m286,200 thousand roubles as part of the implementation of the rights of orphans and children left without parental care in 2018.

It is scheduled to accommodate 165 families, including 45 large families with five or more children.

Today, as many as 72 of 120 planned to build in 2018 multi-apartment investment houses with the total area of 560,900 square meters, have been commissioned.

The implementation of the construction programme of medical and obstetric centres is underway.

As of July 19, the works on construction of 20 universal sports grounds have been completed.
